At Lantrix, we respect your privacy and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). This policy explains how we collect, store and use any information provided to us.

What information we collect and how

The contact form on our website asks for details including name, e-mail address and telephone number so that we may reply to your enquiry. We also collect your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Our website uses Google Analytics which through tracking cookies, stores data about visitors to our website, the most personal of which is their IP address but we do not have access to this information. We also collect data related to successful conversions of users finding us through paid media such as Google Adwords.

We request clients provide additional business details such as their address for invoicing and billing but do not store any bank details.

If we receive any details from one of our partners we protect this in exactly the same way and do not pass on or resell any personal information.

More about Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on the user’s computer to store information as they navigate through a website. Through your browser’s settings you can disable the ability for websites to store cookies, but please note doing so may adversely affect how a website functions.

In addition to Google Analytics we utilise cookies on our website for purely functional uses related to improving the user experience of our website. These store no personal information.

When using third-party embeddable resources such as videos or social interactions these may also utilise tracking cookies for their own purposes and which we have no access to.

Where your information is stored

When submitting an enquiry through our contact form your information is emailed directly to us and stored within our mail server and within local mail archives. All devices that have access to this information are protected using passwords or alternative methods of security.

Our newsletter signup form is integrated with Mailchimp and your email address is stored here.

We also use Sage One Accounting software for the storage of client information relating to invoicing products and services provided. This data is held on Sage’s systems.

What we use the information for

We utilise your details primarily to contact and invoice regarding products and services provided.

Information held in Google Analytics and Google Adwords (or other similar services) is used to track and report on how users interact with our website, the pages they visit and if they have successfully complete our enquiry form. We use this data to ensure our website is delivering on the needs of our users.

Who’s responsible for information at our company?

Barry Cooke, our IT specialist is responsible for the security of your information. You can contact him by email at [email protected] if you have any concerns about the information we gather and store.

Who has access to this information?

When we store information in our own systems, only the people who need it have access. Our management team have access to everything you’ve provided, but individual employees have access to only what they need to do their jobs.

Data held in third-party systems, such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp or Sage, are subject to the same GDPR legislation and you will be able to find more information about their approach to privacy on their own repsective websites.

Right to request information

A part of GDPR includes the right to request any information we may hold on you. If you wish to request this data then we would happily provide all data we believe to have stored about you within 30 days.

You may request we update or remove any data we hold about you, however any data required for accounting or by the government for tax purposes would be retained.

Our client’s data

As a digital agency we store and have access to data for a number of our clients. This data is treated in the same way we treat any other personal data we hold and is treated with the utmost confidence and security.

Where necessary this personal data is encrypted and security measures are in place to ensure that this information is kept safe. Our employees only have access to this data when it is necessary to do so in order to support our clients.

Our website includes a number of links to various websites, some are clients, and others are not. While we may have some responsibility in regards to our clients websites we do not have 100% control over any website but our own.

Our privacy policy does not cover any external websites we link to and so it’s their responsibility to ensure your data is protected and private. You may wish to refer to their privacy policy to understand more about their approach to these matters.
